Google Core Update. Now What? (Nov 2024)

Google Core Update, November 2024

Google completed a core update on December 5. Here’s what to do:

  1. Wait at least a week.
  2. Check site performance in Google Search Console.
  3. Compare a week or month after December 5 to a similar period before November 11.

What is a Core Update?

A few times a year, Google makes a significant set of changes to how their search algorithm works. This is called a core update.

The November 2024 core update started on November 11 and completed on December 5.
